was featured in the last Transworld Snowboarding during a checkout of his home mountain Silverton. You can’t tell from the picture but Skylar is doing an enormous BS180 off of the roof of the mining building. IN addition Skylar added Vans and DaKine to his longtime sponsor Venture Snowboards. Anyone that knows Skylar, knows how hard he kills it on all terrain. Yeah Skylar!!

has been non-stop this season. From competitions all over to photo shoots & filming to just having fun on her snowboard, Ally is killing it. Highlights include taking 3rd in Halfpipe at the Park City stop of the Revolution Tour. Ally spent the whole summer with us at SASS where she slayed powder, ripped tree lines, showed up on ESPN Latin America, trained on backcountry jumps with powder landings and owned the Cerro Catedral terrain park. Keep your eyes on Ally Carroll, she is going to the top with a smile on her face and having fun the whole time.

has been chasing the snow everywhere. Keep an eye out for his next video project it is going to be off the hook. We were lucky enough to have one of the first screenings of the movie IDEA last year at the SASS lodge. Everyone loved the movie and having Pep a part of the family.
If you want follow along with Pep’s adventures in the snow yourself, check out his blog Time Passing Through Snow here: www.pepfujas.blogspot.com/

recently launched his own brand of outerwear called SOUND at SIA Vegas. In addition MFM is fully backing the Monavie Juice program which uses the Acai berry to help overall body wellness and strength. It was sick to have MFM back for year 3 at SASS. Talk to John Sang for more info on the juice.

We are so lucky at SASS, for some reason we have the coolest kids & coaches ever that come to camp year after year. During the North American winter we love to make the rounds and check up on the family, see how they are doing and what they are up to.
Saturday Travis Moore held it down in at the TransAM in Waterville representing like only Travis can do. Luke Mathison and the rest of the Waterville park crew threw up a sick setup that over 100 riders battled it out on.
John Sang and Luke Shelley rode with the SASS homies at Sugarbush, so much fun. Jack Stauss, Sumner Fisher, Jamie Dillon, Ben Harmon, Harry Rose, Ry Young, Will Hansen (the man who found the pow) & Chip Allen from Arkane Snow Magazine (www.arkanesnow.com)
The super posse was in full effect and John Sang was loving the chaos. Really cool to see the crew again and want to make it back there soon.
Sunday we made the trip to Crotched Mountain in the Dirty South of New Hampshire for the first stop of the Main Event east coast all star Event Series for 2008. Got to share life lessons with Bill Enos (you rule Bill!), chill with Ian Kirk from SMS (SASS invades SMS Tuesday Jan08), and take some laps with past SASS campers Sean Ryan, Jeremy Landy & Elin T. They seem to be riding better than ever after their summer in Argentina with us and it was cool to catch up.
